Radah Beth Anderson Barker Iverson

Radah has left this life and joined her eternal companion on the other side of the veil. She passed away at Logan Regional Hospital on Mar. 17, 2011 from complications of a stroke.

Radah was born Sept. 9, 1925 in Millville, UT to Charles and Hidvie Andserson, and grew up there in the family home as the next-to-youngest of 8 children. She attended Millville Elementary, South Cache High School, and Utah State University. Mom met her sweetheart, Darwin Barker, at USU while working in his dad’s barber shop.

The family lived in Smithfield, Providence and Logan, and then moved to Mesa, AZ in 1963. Darwin passed away in 1983, and Radah moved back to Cache Valley in 1997. She lived in Millville and then in Logan until she married Delmar Iverson and resided with him in Millville. Most recently, Radah lived in Logan until the time of her death.

Radah was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many church callings over the years as well as in the Mesa and Logan Temples. Her testimony and love of the Gospel was a great example to her family. Right up until her death, she showed unconditional love and concern for others.

Radah had a beautiful voice and in her younger years, often sang in duets and trios. She assisted her husband Darwin in his businesses and as a stage assistant for his magic performances all over Cache valley in the 50’s and early 60’s. Radah worked for 20 years at Motorola in Mesa and Phoenix.

Radah is survived by her four children, Stanley (Sue), Millville, Charlene (Paul Noack, deceased) Providence, Glade (Gail) Millville, and Dale (Donna) Mesa. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Clarice (Bruce) Peterson, Brigham City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin, son Terrance, her parents and all other siblings.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on March 22nd, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Millville 1st ward church, 110 South Main. There will be a viewing prior to the funeral from 11:30 to 12:30 a.m. and also on Monday, March 21st at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at Allen Mortuaries.
