This past weekend, I had the opportunity to head down to Kaysville for a party at Boondocks. On its own there are things that can be and most likely are duplicated in hundreds of other locations across the United States.
However, when you walk out the door and look up to the mountain backdrop and its close proximity to Logan and Salt Lake, Boondocks can be rather relaxing.
With go-carts for all ages, bumper boats, mini golf, batting cages, laser tag, bowling, video games, snack bar and places for birthday parties and meetings, there is a lot going on here.
I was impressed by how clean Boondocks is kept. Walking around, there are tables with umbrellas for shade, the inside was kept nice and cool and the employees were helpful. They didn’t seem to shy away from being asked questions.
The larger attractions like the bumper boats, go-carts and laser tag can be enjoyed as much as you like with their unlimited pass. You also get a game card with five dollars for video games.
Would I return to Boondocks? Certainly, if I had kids that needed something to do for an afternoon. Don’t get me wrong, adults can have a great time as well, but there is more for the kids, and they will leave with a smile on their face.
