AUGUST 20, 2015, Arnold, Missouri… Play in the Two Person Scramble at Pomme Creek Golf Course in Arnold on Friday, September 4, and you’ll help “Folds of Honor,” a nonprofit organization that raises money for families of fallen soldiers.
“We’re very proud to host this patriotic event for golfers in our community and we encourage all to register early for this event because it is sure to be popular,” said Susie Boone, parks and recreation director for the City of Arnold, which operates Pomme Creek.
The Scramble will begin with a Shotgun Start at 8:30 a.m. Fees for military veterans and Pomme Creek pass holders are $15 and for all others $25, including golf, a cart, lunch and prizes. Pomme Creek will donate proceeds to “Folds of Honor” (www.PatriotGolfers.com).
Tim Schwierjohn, Pomme Creek golf superintendent, said, “We also are hosting an optional Skins Game on September 4th with fees of only $10 per team.”
Reservations for the September 4 events are due by Tuesday September 1. Call 636-296-GOLF (4653) to register.
Pomme Creek is a beautiful, 5,580-yard, par 70 course situated on rolling hills with small lakes and creeks at One Golfview Drive in Arnold about 20 miles southwest of St. Louis. Pomme Creek amenities include:

Pomme Creek is a great alternative to busy and crowded public golf courses in metro St. Louis. It is a challenging 18-hole course very convenient to St. Louis and Southwestern Illinois. Pomme Creek green fees are lower than those at many other municipal golf courses.
