Health Benefits of Regular Exercise

Published for Salt Lake City, Utah

I am sure that most people realize that there are many benefits of exercising on a regular basis, most of these people however still choose not do so. This article gives information on how our health can benefit from this exercise which hopefully will encourage more people to start.

I am one of the many people who find it hard to start exercising. There is always something that comes up which seems to be more important. However, I am getting better at getting myself in the gym and doing 30 -40 minutes a day. I have over the past couple of years started a fitness routine and have not only enjoyed it but have never felt so healthy.

It is a strange situation, the thought of starting to exercise is really a drudge, but afterwards I feel refreshed and like I have accomplished something great. Despite this, I then find it hard to begin to exercise again on the next day. Make it a habit and it won’t seem like a drudge.

Benefits of exercise:

  • Helps lower levels of stress
  • Helps improve posture
  • Helps people sleep better
  • Helps you to gain stronger muscles
  • Increases heart and lung efficiency
  • Lowers the risk of heart disease and lung disease
  • Helps overall circulation
  • Helps reduce blood pressure
  • Helps people lose weight
  • Helps reduce depression
  • Helps reduce cholesterol levels naturally
  • Helps reduce symptoms of arthritis

As you can see in the above the list, there are many reasons as to why people should start an exercise program. These are only a few out of many health benefits that can be mentioned.

On a side note, I find that exercising helps me reduce stress and gets my blood flowing. Exercising helps me see things more clearly and ready to hit the day running.

I also love to enjoy good food. By exercising consistently, I am able to enjoy a variety of foods and still keep my weight in check.

Exercising may not be the easiest thing for everyone to do, but if you can make it a habit in your life, you will notice a difference in how you feel, how you act and noticing that you can do things you never thought you would be able to do. – See more at:
